As you may have guessed, I'm not the biggest fan of President Bush.
But these comments by Harry Belafonte are completely out of line:
"No matter what the greatest tyrant in the world, the greatest terrorist in the world, George W. Bush says, we're here to tell you: Not hundreds, not thousands, but millions of the American people... support your revolution," Belafonte told Chavez during the broadcast.
First, its ridiculous to call Bush the "greatest tyrant" and "greatest terrorist" in the world. As an American (even one who dislikes Bush) I find myself personally offended by that characterization. Even Sissies should distance themselves from that type of over-the-top hyperbole. It only serves to undermine political debate (and make whoever said it look like a complete jackass).
Second, near as I can tell, no one in America supports Chavez's revolution. And I mean no one.
So what's the bottom line? Belafonte is a complete asshole. End of story.
